To the Patients and Friends of Dr. Crist Johnson,

 

My name is Dr. Nick Stebbins, owner of Mitten Family Dental! My first priority is that you are comfortable and confident in the care you will receive. To ensure this, I plan to expand our available hours of operation, accept all of the same insurance plans, and will maintain all of the same staff that have served you in the past – I can see they have a sincere and caring relationship with all of you, and I feel so thankful they will all be staying on.

 

I’d like to take the opportunity to tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised here in West Michigan, in Jenison. I grew up in a big family with two older sisters and two younger brothers. I enjoyed sports, woodworking, and flying. It was my interest in aviation that led me to attend Western Michigan University for their great flight program. However, during my sophomore year I felt a strong call to serve my country, so I enlisted in the US Marine Corps. After a returning from my service overseas, I felt a new calling – a desire heal others. This led me to change my focus of study to science and to ultimately graduate with degrees in biomedical science and chemistry. I then attended dental school at A.T. Still University in Phoenix, AZ where I earned my Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree and a Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree cert. I am so happy to finally be back home in Michigan. I still enjoy getting involved the community, spending time with my family and friends, and getting outside – biking, hunting, and hiking with my dog Arlo (whom you may well see in the office).

 

It is my goal to make you feel comfortable, safe, and confident that your dentist does high quality work. I absolutely love dental medicine, and have obtained advanced training in anesthesia, implant placement, as well as Invisalign, and Botox.

 

I am committed to providing each of you with the highest standard of personalized care while continuing to maintain the warm and comfortable dental experience that Dr. Johnson has fostered. I truly look forward to meeting each of you and your families, becoming a part of this community, and caring for you all whenever you need me.
